How painful is laser tattoo removal?
Some pain, pin prick bleeding and redness, swelling and soreness could be a factor depending on the client's reaction - all temporary and a reasonable payoff to remove unwanted artwork. Each pulse of the laser feels like you are being splashed with hot fat, or pinged with an elastic band. You can use cold compresses to ease the area while healing takes place. The physical 'pain' is of course temporary; many people feel this is a satisfactory trade off for the emotional pain and social problems caused by unwanted ink on their body.
Tattoo removal procedure
We use a dual wave length q-switched Nd:YAG tattoo removal laser. The laser targets the tattoo; the ink absorbs the light energy and breaks down into smaller particles. The body removes the changed ink through the immune system. Treatment time, sessions, price and result depend upon individual tattoos.

White and yellow naturally fade. Some colours, such as red, can turn black on treatment: these are then treated as black.
